The EPA now requires schools to annually test for lead and post notices with the results. As part of the annual lead testing requirement by the EPA, we have posted a notice in the school news section of the high school and middle school websites to make our school community aware of the results. I want to emphasize that none of the results came back in the EPA’s actionable range. However, the district has elected to voluntarily take some preventative measures not required by the EPA where lead was detected. Those measures are outlined in the letter posted to the school website. As always, the safety of our students is our top priority.
