PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! We have over 500 students in grades kindergarten through six, with an amazing staff who have established a supportive learning environment while striving for academic excellence. At Reid, we believe in the Power of The Team. This planning process helps create our school vision, guides our instruction, allows us to share ideas and reinforces positive teamwork and leadership.

Over the past six years, I have had the pleasure of working throughout the Clark-Shawnee District. I was the Assistant Principal at Possum School for two years, the Principal at Rockway School for three years, and  I am returning to Reid School for my second year. My years of experiences within multiple buildings in our district has awarded me the opportunity to build strong relationships in our wonderful community.

My husband and I both grew up in the Springfield area. We have been married eight years and have two amazing little girls, Reed Knightley and Remi Lou. Becoming their mother has blessed me beyond words. We are fortunate to have loving, supportive parents and siblings close by and cherish the moments we spend with them.

I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of students in the building and look forward another fabulous year at Reid School. Please know that we value our community partnership and would love to talk with you throughout the school year. Thank you for sharing your children with us!

Yours in education,

Chrissy Elliott
