Students who need to recover credits can sign up for Shawnee Summer School through June 8 to make academic progress before the new school year begins.
More information can be found on the Shawnee High School web page and the registration form is available in the Shawnee Enhanced Learning office.
Students who did not pass a course during the school year and wish to earn that credit online during the summer can sign up at Shawnee High School.
Students must completely fill out the registration form and turn it in along with $100 to the Shawnee High School office before Friday June 8, 2018.
If the student does not have computer access from home, they will be required to access the web online at another location. The Clark County Public Library and its branches have online access at each location.
A student must attend (unless approved by the teacher before) all Monday sessions. At the first summer school session on June 11 in the Media Center Computer lab, the students will receive the website, user ID, their password, and when their lessons must be transmitted. They will begin their first session at school from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 11.
The summer school will be in session on Mondays June 11-July 9. Students will work on coursework throughout the week and come into mandatory Monday sessions in order to recieve guidance from the instructor, ask any questions they may have, and complete work.
