Scheduling Information and How-To Video for Students, Student schedule cards due soon

Our guidance department met with in-person Shawnee Students last week in order to outline the scheduling process for next year.

ALL students (hybrid and virtual) have received their schedule cards by email for next school year 2021-2022.

Please follow this link for a How-to Video on Scheduling from the SHS guidance department: How-To Scheduling Video

Please read below for specific information regarding scheduling.

Due Dates:

B MODALITY: SCHEDULE REQUEST FORMS ARE DUE TO GUIDANCE BY FRIDAY 2/12/21.

A MODALITY: SCHEDULE REQUEST FORMS ARE DUE TO GUIDANCE BY TUESDAY 2/15/21.

VIRTUAL STUDENTS:  SCHEDULE REQUEST FORMS ARE DUE TO BE EMAILED TO GUIDANCE BY FRIDAY 2/12/21.

** Please check your school email! In-person learners have also received a hard copy during their advisory/bravetime periods.

At the meeting, they also discussed the high school course of study, Shawnee High School graduation requirements, as well as exciting course offerings at Shawnee High School that are available for you over the next four years.

We wanted to make available, in digital form, our high school course of study for parents and students to view. Please I hope this will help communicate needed information in this unique year of hybrid and virtual learning.

You will find both documents attached to this email. Within the course of study document you will find valuable information, including:

1. Tips regarding the scheduling process

2. A description of the Shawnee High School graduation requirements

3. A four-year planning guide that will help you begin planning your high school experience,

4. A course descriptions at the end of the document

Please visit our Guidance website for more information

Please email questions to your guidance counselors. Virtual students have been asked to email their completed schedule cards to their counselors as well.
