March 13, 2020 Distance Learning Update

Dear Clark-Shawnee Families,

Thank you for your support and patience as we work out the details of the three week closure that will begin on Tuesday, March 17, as ordered by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.

I wanted to update you with some information about what to expect during this time for your students.

  • From March 17-20, students will be using the three “Blizzard Bags” lessons that we have used in past years for excessive snow days.

  • March 23-27 will be Spring Break as planned. Students will not have assigned work during this time.

  • At the end of Spring Break, families will receive additional information about distance learning plans for the week of Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3.

  • Blizzard Bag pick-up schedules for students who are not in attendance on Monday will be posted by noon on Monday, March 16 on the district's website and social media.

We will share more details next week about distance learning and what it means for your student. Thank you for your partnership throughout the last few days and in the weeks to come.

Sincerely,

Brian Kuhn

Superintendent
