Elementary students host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Butterfly Garden and Memory Walk
Clark-Shawnee Local School District held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, September 25, 2023, to officially dedicate and open the Butterfly Garden and Memory Walk to the community.

The Pride of Shawnee Marching Band selected to perform in the 2024 Chicago Thanksgiving Parade
An invitation to perform at the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade is an honor reserved for the most talented marching bands from across the nation. Each year, only 16 bands are selected to perform in the parade.

The ninth annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to take place at Shawnee High School
Shawnee High School will hold the ninth annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on May 19, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the Shawnee High School South Gym. Two alumni, two athletes, and one faculty member will be inducted into their respective Hall of Fame.

Since the sale opened in December, bricks have been purchased to celebrate graduations and special occasions, honor those who have passed, thank loved ones who have made an impact, and remember the history of our community.

Shawnee High School and Middle School to Update Building Signage
This week, Shawnee High School and Middle School will update its exterior wall signage to reflect that the building now houses both the middle school and the high school. The new signage will also feature the district’s golden block-S logo with Shawnee feathers.
