2026 College Credit Plus Meeting
If you were unable to attend the Annual County-wide CCP meeting at Kuss Auditorium on February 3rd, please follow these steps:
1.) Review the attached PowerPoint presentation for parents and potential CCP students.
2.) See Mrs. Shong, Ms. Johnson or Mrs. Brown for the 2026-2027 CCP Contract/Intent Form due by April 1, 2026.
3.) Review the attached document with more information about the CCP application/eligibility process.
The CCP Contract/Intent Form must be returned by April 1, 2026 for the student to participate in the CCP Program for the summer/fall of the 2026-27 school year. Each CCP student should plan to complete all steps of the CCP process by May 1, 2026. If students are taking online/on campus courses at Clark State, these need to be registered with Clark State by May 15, 2026.

Where: The Kuss Auditorium
Are you Interested in earning college credit while in high school? If your answer is yes, then you and your parents/guardians need to attend the mandatory counseling requirement for any 7th-12th grade student on February 3, 2026, from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Kuss Auditorium in Springfield. (Please note that all in-house CCP classes at Shawnee are for grades 10-12.) The actual CCP presentation will be from 6:30-7:30 pm, and the Shawnee HS Breakout Information Session will be from 7:30-8:00 pm. For those that are interested in speaking to local college reps from Cedarville, Clark State, Sinclair, and Wright State, they will be available at the Kuss Auditorium from 5:30-6:30 pm. Information will be provided about how the program works, deadlines, and specific details about Shawnee’s guidelines.
This is a requirement if you plan to take CCP classes during the 2026-2027 school year even if you’ve already taken CCP courses. Please also see the flyer for more information.
