College Credit Plus (CCP) Information
Are you Interested in earning college credit while in high school?
If your answer is yes, then you and your parents/guardians need to attend the mandatory counseling requirement for any 7th-12th grade student on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Kuss Auditorium in Springfield. The actual CCP presentation will be from 6:30-7:30 pm, and the Shawnee HS Breakout Information Session will be from 7:30-8:00 pm. For those who are interested in speaking to local college reps from Cedarville, Clark State, Sinclair, and Wright State, they will be available at the Kuss Auditorium from 5:30-6:30 pm. Information will be provided about how the program works, deadlines, and specific details about Shawnee’s guidelines. This is a requirement if you plan to take CCP classes during the 2025-2026 school year even if you’ve already taken CCP courses. Please also see the attached flyer for more information.
For students in grades 6-8, the Clark-Shawnee Local School District is required by the State of Ohio to make you aware of this program. However, it is important to understand that Shawnee HS only offers in-house CCP classes for grades 10-12.
