Smile Programs… the mobile dentist at Clark-Shawnee
Smile Programs… the mobile dentist will be at Clark-Shawnee Local School District October 23-30, 2024. The mobile dentist will be on campus during the school day and families may sign their Clark-Shawnee student up for an appointment using the links below.
Families who are interested in seeing the Mobile Dentist this year should complete the online appointment form to provide contact information, medical history, insurance information, and parental consent. By doing so, a state licensed dentist will check your student's mouth and teeth, as well as provide a cleaning, x-rays as necessary, fluoride treatment and apply sealants, as needed. Additional care, such as fillings, may also be provided. A dental report card will be sent home with your child.
The Mobile Dentist began in 1997 by two mothers who understand how busy life can be. “As both mothers and dentists, we knew how difficult it was to take our own children to the dentist while juggling busy schedules,” explained the founders Dr. Marcy Borofsky and Dr. Margo Woll. “Over the years, through our partnerships with schools, millions of children have received dental care who otherwise would never have received it.”
