2022-2023 Exam Procedures:

1. Students must attend all classes. An exam will be given in each class that should take approximately 80-90 minutes of the exam period.

2. Students will be permitted to arrive at school for their first class period of the day and leave after the last class of the day with parent permission slips. Please review the schedule for dates and times.

3. Students cannot leave school and then come back if they have an “open” period in the middle of an exam day schedule (i.e if they have a guided study in the middle of an exam day schedule).

4. If students do not have an approved signed form to leave the building before 2:30, they will remain in study hall for the remainder of the day. 

5. Assessment Day Sign-out forms are to be turned in to the office by Friday, May 26, by the end of the day. Parents will need to sign their student out in the office, if we do not receive a sign-out form.

6. The buses will run on a normal schedule. Therefore, if students are leaving school prior to 2:30 pm parents would need to account for and provide transportation. Parents please pick-up students at their normal  pickup spot.

7. Students leaving for the day will sign out in the classroom 5 minutes before the end of the class period (if they have completed the exam) and then promptly exit school. This will help teachers separate who has permission to leave and who must stay. Sign out forms will be provided to teachers, as well as a list of students (by grade level) who have not provided a sign-out sheet.

8. The exam schedule will be followed. In case of a school closing, assessments will be moved one day accordingly. Please check the website for up-to-date information.
