“Sometimes you use words for positive actions; sometimes you use bricks!”

Since the sale opened in December, bricks have been purchased to celebrate graduations and special occasions, honor those who have passed, thank loved ones who have made an impact, and remember the history of our community. 

The deadline to purchase a brick for the Memory Walk is March 31, 2023.

Gilley to Receive Excellence in Teaching Award

“One of my favorite parts of being a teacher is when I see students evolve into problem solvers and get motivated by the problem solving process itself as well as the correct answer,” she said. “Another one of my favorite parts about teaching is watching my seventh grade students grow into amazing people with multiple talents by the time they graduate.”

Shawnee High School and Middle School to Update Building Signage

This week, Shawnee High School and Middle School will update its exterior wall signage to reflect that the building now houses both the middle school and the high school. The new signage will also feature the district’s golden block-S logo with Shawnee feathers.

Shawnee Drama Club presents its first annual interactive Dinner Theater, Professor Noliddle and the Gift for Murder. Join us Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 5:00 pm in the Shawnee High School North Gym for an interactive Murder Mystery where the audience participates!
