Shawnee High School named five students as their Students of the Third Quarter for the 2023-2024 school year.

The Springfield-Clark CTC sent fifty two students to the SkillsUSA State Championships including five Shawnee High School Students.

Your favorite 5K and 1 mile fun run is back for the 10th running of the Braves 5K! This year it is at Shawnee High School on Monday, May 13 at 9:00 AM.

Clark-Shawnee Open Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year opened on April 1, 2024, at 7:00 am. If you would like your student to be considered for Open Enrollment in the 2024-2025 school year you must submit an application on or after April 1, 2024.

Congratulations to Mr. Matt Warrington who will receive one of the Excellence in Teaching Awards! Mr. Warrington is in his 27th year of teaching, all of them at Clark-Shawnee Schools. He is currently a middle school science teacher and coach for Clark-Shawnee.

Shawnee Elementary students attended the annual Young Authors’ Program hosted by the Clark County Education Service Center.

The Southwest Region Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) awarded Olivia Lemon, Shawnee High School Class of 2024, The Ronald J. Diver Memorial Scholarship.

Over the last three weeks, the Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center sent thirty-two students to compete at the SkillsUSA Regional Competition. Three Shawnee High School Students placed in the top three. 

Shawnee Middle School writers competed against 10 other teams at the Power of the Pen District Tournament at Kenton Ridge Middle School. Several writers qualified for the regional competition.

Clark-Shawnee students are partnering with the nonprofit Tree-Plenish to help make their community more sustainable. They plan to plant 700 saplings on May 4, 2024, to offset their school’s energy consumption from the past academic year.

Clark State College honored Olivia Lemon, Shawnee High School Class of 2024, and 11 other high school students with their annual Peacemaker Award at Springfield's Martin Luther King Jr. celebration.

Shawnee Drama Club presents No Vacancy an interactive Dinner Theater on February 10, 2024, at 5:00 pm in the Shawnee High School North Gym.

Heather Hare, Shawnee High School Class of 2024, was selected to represent Clark-Shawnee as the Youth of the Month at The Exchange Club of Springfield.
